lay at Haiphong for nearly a month owing to shortage of rolling stook and when they were delivered at Yunanfu about the end of December they were in bad sondition, having been forsed open and the contents badly used and pilfered to a considerable axtent; in the caSÚ of shina and glassware more than half was smashed and so was much valuable furniture, The total loss is estimated at $3,000.
